RICHMOND, B.C. – LIMS implementation at Maine and Wisconsin has been completed. Now our devoted teams are working closely with Domtar Cornwall to ensure that all the required and required functionalities are included in this implementation. The goal is to offer a seamless and efficient integration with their existing systems without any interruption in their daily productions. Upon the expected “go-live” date of December 2004, the mills at Cornwall will then join with those in Maine and Wisconsin and benefit from a truly real-time, sophisticated, and yet user-friendly environment in inventory control and financial management.
Domtar is already experiencing improved task efficiency at Domtar Maine as a result of the automated processes in LIMS. Meanwhile, the new contract approval system has provided Domtar Wisconsin with more advanced and instantaneous control on contracts and pricing information. This minimizes any downtime caused by unnecessary delays and offers a more efficient way of business operation.
