West Fraser utilizing LIMS and WeighWiz software to manage byproducts at all their sawmills

Vancouver, BC, Canada – January 15, 2019 – West Fraser, one of America’s largest lumber producers, is utilizing 3LOG’s LIMS (Log Inventory and Management System) and WeighWiz software to manage their byproducts at all their sawmills. West Fraser has 46 locations in western Canada and the southern United States.

With the high volume of byproducts produced by West Fraser’s mills it was important to be able to manage the sales of these byproducts. LIMS allows West Fraser to create sales contracts to third parties and with WeighWiz they can monitor the weight for each load that is sold.
