Columbia Forest Products implementing LIMS at 4 veneer mills

Vancouver, BC, Canada – Dec 29, 2017 – Columbia Forest Products is implementing 3LOG’s LIMS software at their veneer mills in Newport, VT, Presque Isle, ME, Mellen, WI and Rutherglen, ON.

Columbia Forest Products previously implemented LIMS and WeighWiz at all their plywood mills in North America. Based on the success attained from the implementation of LIMS within the plywood division it was determined the veneer division could also benefit from a 3LOG implementation so that project is currently underway.

Founded in 1957, Columbia Forest Products is North America’s largest manufacturer of hardwood plywood and hardwood veneer products. Columbia’s decorative interior veneers and panels are used in high-end cabinetry, fine furniture, architectural millwork and commercial fixtures.
