Alta Forest Products LLC standardizes on 3LOG software

Vancouver, BC, Canada – June 2, 2014 – Alta Forest Products LLC is implementing 3LOG’s LIMS (Log Inventory and Management System) software and WeighWiz at their operations in Naples, ID and Shelton, WA.

Alta Forest Products took over ownership and all operations of the assets of TMI Forest Products and Welco Lumber Company USA on May 1st, 2014 including the four manufacturing facilities located in Morton, WA, Shelton, WA, Amanda Park, WA and Naples, ID.

TMI Forest Products installed LIMS and WeighWiz at their Amanda Park and Morton locations in 2009. Welco Lumber Company USA was using other software at their locations in Naples and Shelton. With the formation of Alta Forest Products LLC it was decided to come together on one software solution for all locations. Knowing the features and functions available in LIMS and WeighWiz along with the ongoing investment that goes into the products it was an easy decision to move forward with 3LOG.
