Our Solution
The ScaleWiz scaling management software from 3LOG Systems improves the data
collection task of log scaling. The design of our ScaleWiz allows the log
scaler to validate and transmit data on the spot, via modem, LAN, Internet
or diskette with speed and efficiency.
ScaleWiz simplifies the critical task of log scaling and
uploading by combining the portability feature of handheld devices with the
power of PC software and the expandability of database servers.
ScaleWiz provides a fully configurable user interface with flexible key
assignments. Whether the log scaler is in the sort yard or on the boom, the
features of the system permit fast data entry and convenient selection of
frequently used information.
Once back at the office, the log scaler can easily synchronize
the collected data to the main PC unit by attaching the handheld unit
directly to it. Built-in connectivity with 3LOG's LIMS (Log Inventory and
Management System) further facilitates data management while assuring the
highest level of information integrity and reliability.
