3LOG Systems is pleased to have contributed to Alberta-Pacific’s recent Special Achievement in GIS
(SAG) Award
August 2003
At the 2003 ESRI International User Conference
(www.esri.com) in San Diego, Alberta-Pacific
acquired Special Achievement in GIS Award for implementing its new Woodlands Information System
(WIS).
The System is the result of a successful implementation of 3LOG’s LIMS (Log Inventory & Management System) integrated with INFORM’s premiere forest management tool, TheForestManager™.
The enterprise system will support Alberta-Pacific's long-term strategic business plan
objectives for environmental certification, cost control, cost recovery from
asset management, and overall team effectiveness. Al-Pac’s Woodlands Information System was implemented and went live
as of January 2003.
3LOG Systems utilized its Inventory and Management System, Version 4, with
INFORM’s TheForestManager™ (TFM)
integrated solution to provid a solid solution to
AL-PAC’s requirements. 3LOG's products, their open architecture and the Oracle database
facilitate a seamless integration with TFM.
AL-PAC excels in process, environmental technology and woodlands ecosystem management practices.
The company has been awarded with numerous significant industry awards for industry and environmental performance.
Special Achievement in GIS (SAG) Award honors an elite group of organizations that have embraced
the GIS technology to better serve our world.
