West Fraser has selected
3LOG Systems to acquire its Weighscale software solution.

Fraser has selected 3LOG Systems to replace its legacy weigh
scale software at all 9 of its British Columbia weigh scales. The
company will use 3LOG’s weigh scale software, WeighWizBC,
to integrate with its existing LIMS. This will
allow its weigh scale data to be seamlessly connected and communicate
with other LIMS data in order to electronically generate invoices,
payments, reports, and further reduce administrative costs.
WeighWizBC can operate on its own without LIMS, giving
it the capability to operate in any location. WeighWizBC will also
be fully compliant with the new B.C. Ministry of Forests’
Harvest Billing System (HBS). It will connect to HBS either through
LIMS or directly from the weigh scale via an Internet connection.
