Conifex, Inc. goes live with 3LOG solution

Vancouver, BC, Canada – January 28, 2009 – Looking for the right solution to meet the challenges of the BC market, Conifex has implemented 3LOG's LIMS5 and WeighWiz products.

Conifex needed a viable solution quickly to replace the older technology custom written solution that was designed specifically for that operation. LIMS5 and WeighWiz turned out to be a perfect fit to address the needs of Conifex including the need for Crown dues, BC stumpage and the ability to support banded inventory to ensure accurate inventory levels.

3LOG has a strong customer base in the BC area that are extremely satisfied with the products, service and support they receive. After meeting and talking with current 3LOG customers it was an easy decision for Conifex to select their new business partner.

As a result of acquiring Pope & Talbot's Fort St. James location in the fall of 2007, Conifex recently began the start up of the operations at the mill capable of producing 300 million board feet of lumber on an annual basis. Conifex looks forward to continual expansion and growth with plans to make the plant more efficient in the future.
