Grant goes with 3LOG software for South Carolina

Vancouver, BC, Canada -- January 15, 2007 -- The fifth largest manufacturer of oriented strand board (OSB) in North America has installed 3LOG software at its newly-constructed facilities in South Carolina.

Grant Forest Products Inc. is a leading Canadian engineered wood panel provider that has grown rapidly since its founding in 1981. In 2006 the company constructed new facilities in Allendale and Clarendon counties that now employ over 200 people.

3LOG Systems of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, is providing the business software to support the new operations.

Grant chose 3LOG’s LIMS to administer its wood procurement and inventory management processes.

3LOG’s WeighWiz manages incoming deliveries at the new facilities. Delivery truck drivers interact directly with the software, which runs in an unattended mode that is both cost-efficient and well-controlled.
